Enter Recipes/Edit a Recipe ViewsTable of Contents
What is required to enter a recipe into the database?Only the recipe name is required to enter a recipe in the database. Back to TopI am entering new recipes and I’ve entered the information that I want. Now what do I do?If your done, click the ‘X’ at the top, right corner. Your recipe is in the database. If you have more recipes to enter, click the ‘>*’ (arrowhead-asterisk) symbol at the bottom, left of the view. This brings up the next view for entering a new recipe. Back to TopHow do I store pictures, video, or sound files?The picture or audio file can be inserted by putting the cursor in the large box, upper left on the enter or edit a recipe form, and going to 'Insert Picture' on the tool bar. An 'Insert Object' wizard comes up. Click 'Create from File' and browse to and select the file you would like to insert. Similarly, to store a sound file, put the cursor in the 'Audio Pronunciations' box in the 'Enter a Recipe' form or click 'Audio Pronunciations' in the 'Edit a Recipe' form, right click and select 'Insert Audio File' and browse to the file you would like to select.
