Berries with Creamy Lemon Sauce



Ingredients



1 1/2 cup(s) fat-free (skim) milk

1/4 cup(s) sugar

1 tbsp all-purpose flour

3/4 tsp lemon extract

2 cup(s) strawberries, hulled and halved

1 cup(s) blueberries



Instructions



Combine milk, sugar and flour in the top of a double boiler. Cook over simmering water, stirring

frequently, until mixture thickens, about 30 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in lemon extract.

Place plastic wrap on surface of mixture; refrigerate until cool.



Place about 1/2 cup of strawberries and 1/4 cup of blueberries into each of 4 stemmed glasses.

Spoon about 1/3 cup of lemon sauce into each cup.
